Writing A Book – Updated

Last Christmas I wrote a blog post about my plans about writing a book.  Since then I have had all sorts of thoughts about what I should do, how I should construct it, written things down, crossed things out, and I have texted myself with ideas. There has been a non-stop flow of ideas since I decided to write.  When I say non-stop I mean there has been a lot of rubbish I had to work around before I got an idea that I liked that I could run with !!
At the time I was not sure what to write about, or how it might come together.  The come together bit is still a work in progress, but I do have a story.  It is fun.

Let me introduce you to Sheepy McTavish ~ he’s a pretty cool dude, well sheep actually 🙂

001

The pages tell a story about a sheep from Scotland that wants to travel the world, wants to go to Hollywood and will have a lot of fun along the way.  He meets the Magic Man who just happens to live on Baker Street in London just a few doors down from Sherlock Holmes.  Sherlock isn’t in my book, as I’m sure that is pretty much flouting copyright laws.
Sheepy McTavish is in my book though, and you are going to like him.  I smile when I write the book, and Sheepy smiles all the time!

I have lots more to write, lots more to the adventure, but it is taking shape.  A miniature traveling sheep from Scotland… what could be more normal to write about than that.

  1. What could be more normal? Everything! You are a man of many surprises and I look forward to the adventure of the sheep.
