Having a car is a great way to get around Sweden, and despite plans you can end up anywhere you please.  You can arrive at a place and if you want you can stay, or keep on going.  On getting to Upsalla there was only one answer…STAY.

Upsalla is on first look a nice small town, it was only on investigation that I found out if is the 4th largest city in Sweden.  It wasn’t actually on the places to visit list because it was described as a university town and not that exciting.  I am so pleased I visited Upsalla.  I would go as far as to say it is the nicest place I have visited in Sweden, and that includes Stockholm.

A wander round a picturesque place on a sunny Sunday evening followed by a great dinner at a local eatery.  Nice.
