I recently became capable of naming all the countries in the world, that’s no insignificant feat but admittedly pretty useless.  So, I decided I wanted to go to them all, well at least 100, cause many are not safe. My current travel numbers are somewhere close to 80, so work to do.

Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Thailand, India, Mexico,  Singapore, South Africa, Hong Kong, Tunisia …. much of Europe too, and lots of America (but that’s only 1 country right ??).  Fiji, Tahiti, and Hawaii, because I could never resist a beach. More recently my travels have taken me to Eastern Europe and the Middle East to diversify and learn about the world.

I have never found, and I truly mean anything, that is better than wandering around aimlessly in a new city.  My journeys to the different corners of the world continue, and my steps towards reaching 100 countries continue.

Traveling Farther

I’ve kept going farther east, and the wandering has taken me to the Stan countries most recently, and I can’t think of anything better for the pure joy to wander around foreign lands, and not understand a single word anyone says, but to try anyway. Meeting local people, trying local foods, and searching for something new and different.
