The Photos That Brightened My Travels … (none are famous) .. The Alternative Europe Travel Album

By my latest count I have now been to 31 of the countries in Europe, lots of good one’s, and certainly the six on this trip added to what truly is a great continent to explore.  It helps of course that the places are relatively close, and travel time is generally not too demanding.  It is important that I find time for exploring because traveling changes you, always.  You just think a little differently, view things a little differently and certainly have stories and experiences that will lead to many a tale. The people you meet, see or share time in the encounter never cease to amaze me.  As I traveled through Estonia and Latvia last Sunday I was thinking how the fact that the day to day goings on in all these small towns and villages happens every day, and it was just my privilege to peek into it on this one day in time. I’ve posted lots of pictures on this trip of great and impressive buildings, cool landscapes and night time skies that light up so beautifully, but I have some different pictures of what I saw, some pictures that brightened my day in all sorts of ways. It’s a strange assortment, but it does bring out the personality of the trip and made me smile.. good places and good people can do that to you.. The last one is a selfie as I plundered through the snow of Oslo..
